Wilmot/Wilmate Fowler, bn abt 1819, and wife Phebe Fowler, bn abt 1826, was in the 1850 census in Westport, Lincoln, Maine with 3 children...

Ezra L. Fowler, bn abt 1842/43, (would be age 17/18 in 1860)
Charles K. Fowler, bn abt 1846, (would be age 14 in 1860)
George W. or M. Fowler, bn abt 1849 (would be age 11 in 1860)

Since people in those days often used their first name or middle name on written documents, it could be possible that this HOH gave his name as George to the census taker, as in "George W. Fowler".

I would also like to know if there are families with the surname "Knight" living close by.

They may have moved to another state or Canada by 1860, but I need to know if they are in Maine in 1860.

Thank you so much for looking.
