Hi Lindsey,

I'd like to welcome you (and other recent joiners) to the group! You and I are
investigating many of the same lines and it was great corresponding with you
earlier this year about that. I guess I didn't realize you're still in high
school--I really wish I'd started compiling data back then, when my grandparents
were still alive.

I do hope you get to visit northern Maine and see some of these towns we're all
talking about it. I finally got to do so at age 37, after having lived in Maine
since I was 18!

I'm hoping that as this list goes on, people who grew up in the Eagle Lake/Fort
Kent area will post some of their reminiscences about what that was like.
