Subject: [MEADOWS] Will of Thomas 1655

June 6, 1655 (Court Order 1652-1655, pg 197) Mr. George Bryer appointed to
Probate the will. The estate to be appraised by Ambrose Meader, Fran Gower,
Toby Hurst and Thomas Robinson. The estate was appraised at a value of
17,502 lbs of tobacco (17,502 x .0333 = $528.82)
OK here we go.
The appraiser/s are appointed by the court. They CAN be a relative but they
may not be a beneficiary to the will/estate.
So that makes even more sense that Ambrose was his brother. True? Yes he
could also be his father under those definitions but based on everything
else.... I believe the brother theory.
