I am looking for information concerning the family of John Mc Bride. John McBride was the son of James and Mary McBride who immigrated from Northern Ireland to the St. Patrick Perish area of Charlotte county NB, in 1821. They owned land on Clarence Hill.
In the 1851 census Mary was a widow and had six children: John 22, Andrew 19, James 17, Prudence 15, William 13 and Ellen.
In 1884 Mary was living in Lubec with her son John. I am interested in the McBride family because John was a first cousin of my great Grandfather, James Ebenezer Seed. His mother Mary was the sister of either my gr-gr- grandfather James Seed or his wife Prudence Chestnut Seed. I have letters and photos I would like to share with decendants of Mary McBride.
