Greetings Folk's -

this is another *information only* item :)

This message is mainly for those List subscriber's who *were* and or are
*currently* still customer's of AT&T Broadband Internet services ...
with email addresses such as xxxx @ attbi.com ... you know who you are
:) but I thought I would share this info with our other fellow List
subscriber's also ... who might have family and friends that used this
same ISP ....

Starting *yesturday* June 30th [and please note that I understand, this
to be a phase * in * process] many of the attbi.com email addy's have /
will be changing over to comcast.net ... this means everyone will not be
changing over at the same time, but phased in over a short period of time :)

List mail sent to your attbi.com address, will be forwarded to your NEW
email address at xxxx @ comcast.net until [as I understand it] about
Dec. 2004 [as a courtesy by comcast] ... Now don't procrastinate too
long ... as time slips by, you just might forget to update and change
your email addy with the List here, and with the many cherished friends
you have made on the internet here and there :)

I understand also that those with the attbi.com email will still be able
to send mail with that old name ... but rest a sure that will not last
too long, after your account has been changed over ... eventually you
will have to use the NEW comcast.net address, way before Dec. 2004 ...

Also note that if you have a username that is the same username as a
person that was already a comcast.net user before you ... you will get
or have to pick a NEW username ...

those attbi.com subscriber's we have here, are encouraged to unsubscribe
your old email addy soon [note please use the attbi.com email addy to
do this] send blank email with ONLY the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject
line, To:

[replace LISTNAME with the name of the
List] also replace the -L- with -D- if you are in the Digest mail mode ....

then using your NEW comcast.net email addy ... Re-Subscribe :) sending
another blank email with ONLY the word SUBSCRIBE in the subject line, To:

[replace LISTNAME with the name of the
List] also replace the -L- with -D- if you want the Digest mail mode ....

wishing you all a smoother transition this time ... than some of you had
with that debunk excite.com !
