The town of wiscassett is in Hancock county isn't it? That is what I have
in my notes. I have a deed from the county of Lincoln which lists the town
of Wiscassett in 1788. Would this be the same town of Wiscassett that is
now in Hancock county? When did the boundary lines change?

If anyone can help answer these questions it would really help me out. This
looks like very possible leads to help in my search for Francis William
Appleton, my ancestor.
