I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for but I thought I would give you this info.

Belinda Colson dau of Henry Colson and Deborah Bowden, her mother is the dau of Paul Bowden b. 10/13/1767 Penobscot ME and Rebecca Marks b. 4/27/1768, not exactly sure of where she was born because the Marks family did settle in Brooksville.

Rebecca is the dau of William Marks b. 4/14/1744 in Warren Worcester MA. It was also called Western MA many years ago. I have no information on his wife Mary. In the book Traditions and Records of Brooksville Me, on page 73 it states the house on Kenches Mountain that Henry Sawyer now owns, known for years as the Roger Gray house, was owned by Stephen Marks originally. Mr. Marks died in 1850 (my Ggrandfather). Could this be William's property? In the Book Penobscot Bicentennial 1787-1987 on page 3 it states that between the years 1763-1774, 84 other families made Majorbagaduce their home.......including William Marks. So William came to Castine first, it is where most landed, and then to Brooksville.

I thank you for posting the Byard family. I can now add them into the Marks tree. I don't have much yet on the Bowden/Marks line.
