I have had my sheets for over a year now, I don't know if they are Egyptian Cotton or not, but bought them at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They are still in good condition, they get softer with each washing. You buy the top sheet, fitted sheet and pillow cases all separate. I like my top sheet longer on the sides, so buy a king size top sheet, a queen size fitted sheet, and buy two sizes of pillow cases. Standard size and Queen size. For my personal pillow, I use a satin pillow case, I still have hot flashes, so love a cool pillow, a satin pillow case is cooler, and when you turn it over for the cool side, it feels so cool against my face. If the bottom fitted sheet wears out faster than the top sheet, no problem, I can just buy another bottom sheet of the set. I like being about to use the coupon that Bed, Bath, and Beyond always has on their sale flyer, I save 20% which turns out to be a good savings.
