I don't think an occasional drink, even on a daily basis would qualify
anyone as an alcoholic..
I'm not certain whether it is genetic or simply a personality trait... Most
alcoholics I have known seem to suffer a lack of confidence.... not
outwardly but ..... I have a brother that is an alcoholic and while he
appears to have all the confidence necessary to make his way in the world,
when he is around other people, especially at parties, he seems to crave
attention... "The Life of the Party" kind of guy and his alcohol seems to
enhance this part of his personality... I've known others that seem to share
this trait.... to me, it's always fascinating to behold...
A mix of genetics and personality characteristics may be the clue... Ya
Think?
