I've never had a hand puppet but I do remember shadow puppets. They were
lots of fun. I bought my daughter a ventriloquist's doll for Christmas one
year. It was a love/hate relationship from the start. She was afraid of it and
loved it all at the same time. She called him Charlie and after a time he
was stored in the attic. She talked about him in the attic with fear in her
voice. I finally gave him away so the problem was gone. Sharon K.
