Finger puppets were a great aid curing my library years but they also spent
many an hour reading or entertaining car bound children as we were
transferred coast to coast. I had a full set of Winnie the Pooh,Beatrice
potter characters, a monkey that was always turning too many pages, a Green
frog, and a purple witch. We also made finger puppets out of paper and
crayons and tape. I still have string marionettes among my dolls and
somewhere there is the ventriloquist "dummy". Haven't seen him for ages
must be in a trunk. Bud. Have any of you written original plays for
puppets?
