The Pratt family I am researching is my paternal grandmothers side of the family. Her name was Inez Gertrude Pratt b. 31 Jan 1903 Corinna ME, d. 27 May 1989 Pittsfield ME. She m. on 27 Dec 1919 In Corinna, Penobscot, ME to Elwood Arlington Nickerson b. 13 May 1896 in Chelsea ME and d. 22 FEB 1972 Bangor ME.

Inez G. Pratt was the daughter of Elbridge W. Pratt b. 21 Apr 1873, Ripley, Somerset, ME and d. 1954 (I believe in Norridgewock ME). He m. on 5 Aug 1894 to Mabel Louise Frost b. 9 Oct 1878 in St. Albans, Somerset, ME and d. in 1936.

Elbridge W. Pratt was the son of Elbridge Gerry Pratt, b. bet. 1815/1816 in Windsor, ME and d. in Ripley, Somerset, ME. He m. in Apr 1871 in Dexter, Penobscot, ME, to Mary Jane Sampson, Daughter of Hiram Sampson, and Martha Dunlap. He later married Sophronia Reed, and had several children by her. Elbridge had a sister, Philana Pratt.

That is all I can find evidence of. I have reason to believe the father of Elbridge W. Pratt is Jones Pratt, b. 29 Mar 1785 in Abington MA, and his mother Abigail Moody b Abt. 1783 in Maine and d. 6 Sep 1871 in China, ME. I have not proven that fact yet.

There are a lot of Pratt's buried here, but I haven't connected with all of them yet. Hope this ties in with someone.
