Hello, I have sub'd to this list with the hope that someone can help me with
a family I'm trying to research. I am looking for a EDWARD P. GALLAGHER who
married ELLEN ANTHEA RICHARDSON. Edward was born abt 1835 CAN, Emigrated
here in 1860. Ellen was born abt 1846 in Bangor and probably around
1868-1869 they were married. I'm assuming in Maine somewhere as that is
where their first daughter KATY GALLAGHER was born abt 1870. The first 4 of
their 7 children were born in Maine; KATY ca 1870, MARY ca. 1871, WILLIAM J.
ca 1874 and ALMA ca 1876. After 1876 and by the 1880 Census of MN they are
found in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota and 3 other children are born;
NELLIE F. ca 1882, SARAH ca 1884, and LORRETTA MARY ca 1886.

I have not been able to find either one of them on any census prior to 1880
and sure could use some help.
