Brenda,
Do you have dates for any of these men?
Is the line Joseph, Joseph Jr, Jonathan in descending order?
I did find a Joseph Inman b 22 Dec 1811 in Pittston, Kennebec Co.,ME. His
parents were Benjamin and Rhoda Inman.
There is also a Joseph Inman who m Mary Spaulding 5 Nov 1839 in Bangor,
Penobscot Co., ME. These appear to be the same man.(extracted town records
by the LDS)
You may want to try the Maine State Library or the Maine State Archives.
Also the Maine Historical Society or the Bangor Public Library. Most of
these have the "ask a librarian" site online.
