It's a new year, and an excellent time to ask for help, again. My great grandfather was JOSEPH EVERETT CROSS b Orneville March, 1854. Parents were Noah CROSS and Lucy A. STUBBS, m 29 August, 1852. I know they were born in Maine but I can't find any reference to Lucy and have more Crosses than I can bear! Can anyone shed any light on these 2 with this little bit of known data?

Additionally, was my Joseph Everett (later J Everett) the same person as Everett Cross, age 16, who appears on the Orneville Census 1870 who worked on a farm, with Eugene Cross age 11 (his younger brother???) owned by the Dutch family of Amos and Lucy?
