FRANK ....... I've a Peter & Nancy (McGuire) Haggerty, both born 1808,
probably Co Donegal Ireland, who settled along with his mother Mary
Haggerty in NB, Canada, maybe Fredericton, prox 1825. They had 2 kids
born in Canada, Mary Ann & Bridget Sophia, prior to moving on to Bangor
prox 1830 & a final settlement in the Houlton ME area, prox 1840. Peter,
Nancy & Mary are interred at St Mary's RCCem, Houlton ME.

For a number of years now I've been trying to ascertain if Peter had any
siblings or other family members in NB or ME at that time. Since he was
not literate in English, he must of acquired the Haggerty name & spelling
someplace, hence, maybe from relatives or the govt or the church. Also
Peter had son's named Francis & John, names, though, that are not
uncommon. The name Thompson, though, is not familiar to me.
Give me a "holler" if any of the above is familiar. Happy Holidays.
