My Gt Gt Grandfather emigrated to Illinois around 1874/5 with his wife and five children. Sadly he died after about 18 months in 1876. By 1881 UK census his widow had returned with the children to England.

I would really like to know if there is any way I could find out how he died and if there is any record of his burial etc. I think he may have died in Shabbona, DeKalb County.
