Shawn Duguay:
There are/were so many people with your surnames. If you could tell us a
little more, even from the 1900's, we could help you figure out where to
look next.
To help us "place" them in our minds, you might want to post to this
list some "two-liners" for individuals or couples you do know about.
Most important: include first names, plus a date or at least era
(1880's, mid-1860's, etc.) and any known or rumored location.

[Example: Jn Bpt LEFEBVRE b. date? Canada/US?; mar date & pl unknown to
Sophie GIROUX; d. 13 Mar 1893 Fond du Lac, FDL Co WI; family story says
he worked in the pinery in the winters.]
For a person you have no facts for, try to give some idea of where you
have searched already, such as "b. possibly Québec" or "not found in
1900 census for Marinette Co. WI" or "mar date needed, approx. 1860?"

You could send a few at a time, and put the surnames in the Subject
line.

Worth a try,
Barb Glassel
