Dear Cousins and Friends....I'm still searching regularily for any information on my gr gr gr grandmother...Marguerite LAROCQUE who was the 1st wife of Emmanuel Beaugrand dit CHAMPAGNE....i've queried this subject almost to death....chip chip chipping away at this brick wall....getting nowhere
I'm looking for an opinion....my question is this....one of her children is Pierre CHAMPAGNE:

Godfather named is an Antoine LAROCQUE....I'm wondering about the relationship between this Antoine LAROCQUE and Marguerite LARCOQUE....could this be her brother or an uncle...etc etc....what might be usual in baptism's??
I have not been able to locate any information on this particular Antoine LAROCQUE.

Also, Marguerite's children, like so many of our relations, appear to be tied to families of Turtle Mountain, ND.:

There are no records pertaining to Marguerite LAROCQUE in St. Boniface Archives...any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
