I forgot to mention, that there are about 10,000 + names in total in this
census, but I have so far only copied off about 300 - hoping for a McKay lead.
There are many more surnames in the Census that I did not mention earlier, but I
will gladly go through again if anyone wants any names pulled. Then again, I hadn't
even finished the reel.
Now that I have the Red R. Settlement geography figured out, I now know
that Christy McKay (who was born in 1814 like my Christy) and William Rutherford
McKay of the same household, were living in the Oxbow, Sask. area. I can hit the
books again! Tis near midnight, time to walk the dog and go beddy-bye. Have a good
night 'Gen.
