Hello All my Cousins and Friends,

Spring is still here and my flowers are still alive!!! Sure hope we
don't get a weird snow now. Lots of birds back and the woods are thick
with lupins, wonderful to see, not so nice to smell. I've often
wondered what kind of things the women used lupins for, in the way of
medicine. I've not heard of them being used here, they are common all
over the north I believe, and I know the bears just love them. Also you
can't transplant them very easily, they have those great long roots like
dandelions which are considered flowers here. Anything that blooms is
accepted into that category.

We are having a water problem and can't water the lawns or wash our cars
because the spring runoff came very fast. We take our water from the
river with nothing done to it, it has to be diluted with well water
during spring runoff because of all the silt, that's to meet Health
Canada Standards. And this year the wells are too dry to provide the
clean water. We live in a land of rivers and lakes and still can't use
the water.

I have no idea of what discussions we could have on Mondays, any ideas
out there? For now, Monday Cousin Serena
