I don't know if this helps at all, but I thought I'd send it along. From the 1835
Census.
Vivier, Alexandre. 27, b. Rupert's Land. Catholic. Married with 1 son < 16, and 1
daughter < 15.
Vivier, Alexis. 65, b. Canada. Catholic. Married with 1 son < 16, and 3
daughters < 15. I have found that info on children, be it the number of children, or
ages of the children are not always accurate. - Christine
