Hi Dave,
I followed this LaPlante line for a friend; only to find out that it wasn't her ancestry afterwards... and have since detached her as a descendant... but, left the line in my database.
I notice that I have no parents for this Madeleine/Magdeleine Menard though... she married Jean Baptiste LaPlante in 1836, rather than about 1865 as in your query.
