Subject: OLD WALDO COUNTY CABINET CARD PHOTOS FOUND IN TEXAS

Dear List,

I recently purchased, in TX, two old cabinet card photos of what I believe
to be a man and wife. The "cards" that these wonderful oval photos are
attached to are identical: thus my thought that the two persons are a married
couple.

These two photos were taken by Tuttle's Studio in Belfast (Waldo Co.) ME. I
would guess the time frame is somewhere between 1885-1905. Both photos are in
excellent condition.

They are both identified on the back of the card. The lady is Alice (Dam?)
Nickerson and the man is Charles Nickerson.

I find and rescue old photos that have identification on them. Precious few
have any ID, so each is special. I do try to recoup my cost. I returned them
at no cost when I first began this project, but I soon found I could not
continue to do that. So, if Charles and Alice Nickerson are your family and/or you
