NEWS OF THE WASHINGTON COUNTY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY

BEALS.....
A meeting of the Washington County Genealogical Society will be held at 1
p.m. on Saturday, May 19th at the Community of Christ Church (formally
the Beals RLDS Church) located at Bayview and Church Streets on Beals
Island.
As a part of their continuing policy of meeting at various locations
around Washington County the group has accepted the invitation of the
Beals Historical Society to meet in their area of the county so as to
learn what that group has been doing in both historical and genealogical
research in the area of Washington County.
The meeting is open to the public and those interested in research are
invited to come and see what connections they might have to families from
this area of Maine.
