Roots 3 became Roots V and Ultimate Family Tree and now The
Master Genealogist. I'm sure it can be upgraded by using any
of the
others.

To Bob Vint and others.. From Lance in Australia

Roots III, then IV, then V eventually became Ultimate Family
Tree and that program is no longer supported. In its time
Roots was regarded as "the" program even though it was a DOS
program (as
most where then). I should imagine it would have a GEDCOM
option.
