I told you that Eleanor Roberge-B-17, Jan. 1839 & Bpt. 18, Jan. 1839 at St.
Cuthbert,
Quebec-Married Charles Francoeur 10, May 1870 at St. Mary's Church. This is
from the
Church records & she married Octave Trudeau in the same Church--11, Jan.
1891.
I can go & get you the Priests who conducted both weddings if that is what
you want.
I did Pierre Roberge & Genevieve Sauvageau's Families back to France for
someone
descended from one of their sons. I could look & see if she married a Hart
in between.
Those early St. Mary's records don't give Charles Francoeur's Parents names.
Neither
do the Vital Records at the Courthouse for that time period.

of Octave Trudeau & Eleanor Francoeur (some have read it Traumcoeur) on or
about 11 Jan 1891 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Cheboygan.
Would it be possible for someone to take look at the St. Mary parish
register's record of this marriage to see if it shows who was Eleanor's previous
husband and when and where they were married? Also, if there's any indication of
when & where Eleanor died? Her name as it appears in the court house record
is Eleanor Francoeur followed by (Hart) in parentheses, which suggests to me
that she was married to someone named Francoeur anglicized to Hart.
The court house record lists Eleanor's parents as Peter Robarge and
Genevieve Sauvageau. I have done a bit of research on the families of Peter (Pierre)
Robarge (Roberge) and Genevieve Sauvageau which I would be happy to share
with anyone who might be interested.
Octave Trudeau was the widower of Apolline Denomme who died about 18 May
1890. Octave and Apolline were my great-grandparents. Octave died sometime in
1895, so he didn't have much time with Eleanor, his new wife.
Any help would be much appreciated.
