I am looking for the pension file for Patrick O'Rorke, who served in Battery D, Michigan 1st Light Artillery. Patrick was captured at the Battle of Chickamauga and was a prisoner of war for the remainder of the war. I have searched at the National Archives and have requested the file from the VA in Detroit. Both locations say they do not have the file. Is there another location where it could be?
