Thanks for your offer of a lookup: My GGGrandfather, Henry Clay McCarty,
volunteered first for the MI 1st Cav, Co.D, served 9/61 to 11/61 (discharged
for disability???), reinlisted in 10th Cav Co. Co F, 1/64 mustered out
11/65. All I have is NARA copies and info from <A HREF="www.civilwardata.com..If">www.civilwardata.com.</A>
