I am looking for any information on Merritt ENOS. I have this info but do not know what happened to him after the Civil War.

Residence: St Joseph County,
Service Record:
Enlisted as a Private on 20 June 1861 at the age of 18
Enlisted in Company C, 4th Infantry Regiment Michigan on 20 June 1861.
POW on 02 July 1863 at Gettysburg, PA
Returned to regiment on 01 January 1864
Mustered out Company C, 4th Infantry Regiment Michigan on 29 June 1864 in Detroit, MI

Merritt ENOS b. 1842 either in Bainbridge Twp., or Benton Two. Berrien Cty., MI or Van Buren Cty., MI

Parents: Joseph H ENOS b. 1817 d. Dec 20, 1850
Lucy Young b. May 17, 1824 d. Oct 19, 1852
