Subject: [MI-CW] Getting Bounced from Rootsweb Mail Lists
Date: Fri, 28 Feb 2003 13:44:19 -0500

Please save this e-mail message for future use.

Since I have had a few people contact me about this.

I have been seeing bounce notices from a multitude of people who use MSN as
a provider. After 4 bounces the Rootsweb computers auto. unsub the address.
You will not get a notice that this happened since your mail is bouncing
from Rootsweb.

>From what I have seen on the tech support list about the multiple MSN
bounces - MSN goes in and does updates and security checks and every time
they do, messages from the lists start bouncing. This has been going on for
quite a while now with them.

It also happens occasionally with other service providers, just more so
lately with MSN.

If you use MSN as a provider right now, and suddenly aren't getting your
list mail, it is best to subscribe again to the list.

If you want to check what lists you are subbed to first go to:

http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/

Follow the instructions and they will send you a list of all the mail lists
your are subscribed to on Rootsweb.

You can go to the webpages below to get back on the list of choice.
