HI Kevin., I can't thank you and another lady Meri Schoof enough for
information I have been receiving on my Ancestors especially it is all so
unexpected. I have now found that another who became Forrest STOCKS son in
law was an enlisted Private in Company H. 1st Engineers Regiment Michigan.
Name: GAINER John enlisted 4th. January 1864. Is any further information
on him readily available please. For the first time since I started
Genealogy many years ago my husband has taken an interest. Many thanks.
