James is gg uncle on my fathers side. He was married to MaryEllen Gibbs, sister of Abel Gibbs. James was with the 1ST NY Calvary company K formed in Grand Rapids. Any information about what engagements he might have been in would be great. James is interned in Findley Cemetary, 2 Mile Rd, Ada Township.
