I would like information on 7th Regiment Cavalry Company B form in Grand
Rapids MI .. 1862 . I have a ancestry who was in this Company B ..Thomas True
from Silver Creek MI enlisted Sep 8 , 1862. as a Private , captured in
Virginia Sept 1864 prisoner at Anderville Ga , exchanged April 1 1865 . Thomas True
was discharge June 24, 1865 he then return to Dowagiac MI . married but died
at the age of 34 yrs. He is buried at Dowagiac . I would like to know more of
there he was capture? and any record I could find of his stay at Anderville
Prison .. Any information will be most helpful... thanks
