My Great-great grandfather was in the Civil war. Would I be able to join the daughters of the Civil war. Please let me know if I am able to and how would I be able to join. Thank you God's Blessings Betty

Leese: They were obviously VERY young when they were in. I belong to
daughters of the Civil War and when I first joined many years ago, we had a
"real
daughter" as one of our members, i.e. she was a true lineal daughter of a
Civil War vet.
