Ive been looking for pics of the 3rd for many years. Especially one of Adam Krick also of Company M. In over 20 years of looking the only group photo of the 3rd is one of their 9 or so blacksmiths and thats all ive ever seen.

Looking for the "group" picture taken of our descendant, WILLIAM R. SWICK, b. NY est. 1828, d. April 1864, buried Chalmette Cemetery, New Orleans. His unit was the 3rd Michigan Cavalry, Co M.
I am not sure what those group pictures were called, but I know many CW units had a large poster-sized picture taken with each member's picture and the name of the unit on each.
