Hello list.,
I need a bit of help on a brick wall. I am trying to find out where in Canada a person came from.. The Census say Canada French. He only filled out his letter of intention and it only states that he gives up his alliance to the Queen. His death record just said Canada. and in his funeral notice ( no obit ) it states what church and what cemetery only.
My question I guess is can I get access to Church records.. ( I check the LDS, no luck ) It is Catholic I think because the name was St. Johns and they were French Canadian. This Death was in 1915.
Or does anyone have any other Idea's of where I might find this information.
