Also I forgot...
The local library that your family resides.

We were in Southern Illinois last month, went to the local library, and
someone had done a family "book"... and low and behold.. my husbands
name was mentioned!! This fellow is from TEXAS!!

There was one error in his book, so we contacted him, and he sent
changes out to all the libraries that he gave copies to... all his
family, and in a weird twist... we are related!! (3rd cousins?)

It is amazing stuff...
Sorry to babble... just forgot to add the local libraries.
