The 1880 Census in Watson, Allegan, MI gave William's age as 22 and Eva's as 23.
Both were both in Michigan. The birthplace of William's parents is listed as
"do not know".

Also, assuming that the boys birthdates are 1882 (8 February 1882 for Horace Arthur
Austin) and 1883 (22 December 1883 for Harry Abram Austin), the 1900 Census listed
them and their widowed mother Eva Leach (born May 1865, age 35, born MI) in Kalamazoo
City, Kalamazoo Township, Kalamazoo County, MI - ED 111 page 11B. Eva is also
listed as having had 3 children, 2 of whom were living in 1900.

The three of them are also living with the family of Wm S. (Aug 1853 NY Eng Eng) and
Lucy (Apr 1857 MI MI MI) SHARP and their four daughters, all born in Michigan,
Grace (Aug 1888), Elizabeth (Apr 1880), Blanch (Jun 1892), and Alice (Oct 1894).

The assumption here is that William may have died between the 1880 and 1900 Census
dates. Treat it as an assumption, not a fact. There's apparently a 2nd husband for
Eva to take into consideration.
