Mrs. Jessie May Baumgartner Rte 1 Delton - Age 85, passed away early Thursday morning at the Barry County Medical Care Facility in Hastings where she had been a patient for the past 5-1/2 years. Mrs. Baumgartner was born May 22, 1890 in South Haven, the daughter of Charles and Matilda Porter Harrison. She had lived in the Kalamazoo and Delton area. She was a Gold Star Mother. She was married to Frank Baumgartner, November 4, 1921 in LaGrange, Indiana and he preceded her in death June 16, 1962. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Myron (Cleo) Johncock, Rte 1, Delton; one son, Raymond F. Baumgartner of Rte 1 Delton; three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Harrison of St. Ignace, Michigan and Ralph C. Harrison of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. A son, Richard, preceded her in death in 1951. Friends are being received at the Williams Funeral Home, Delton, where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Elmer Faust officiating. !
