Miss Helen H. Beattie, 2261 Parker Dr., Gun Lake - Passed away Sunday afternoon, April 10, 1977. Miss Beattie was born Jan. 1, 1929, in Kalamazoo, daughter of Frank and Alene Beattie and had been a resident of Kalamazoo until 1972. She had been employed by Beattie's Drug Store until 1970. She was a former member of the Oakwood United Methodist Church and was a member of the Gun Lake Snowmobile Club. Surviving are 2 brothers, Burton Beattie of Kalamazoo and Jackson Beattie of Portage; 3 aunts, one uncle, several nieces and nephews and her companion and friend, Patricia A. Cutshaw, also of Gun Lake. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 1 o'clock at the Langeland Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, with the Rev. Mr. Jack W. Roomsburg, of the Galesburg United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment in East Martin Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michgian Heart Association.
