Subject: Update on new Barry County History Book

My most recent discussion with someone from the History Preservation
Association let me know that they are still getting organized. They are
still looking at publishing in 2005 but want folks to start writing their
submissions. They still expect to have a brochure available but it is now
delayed until the end of April or first part of May. I will keep you
advised.

The format that they want is conversational. They want interesting stories
about early settlers as well as current residents. If you have a copy or
can view a copy of the 1985 book that was published, the new one will follow
a similar format.
