Passed away September 2, 2003 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and is now with his beloved Marie. Mr. Polstin was born September 4, 1919 in Marshfield, WI, the son of Adolph E. and Anna (Jeske) Polstin. A veteran of World War II, he served God and his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army, and was a past Commander of the VFW Post #422 in Delton. For many years, Larry was employed by Twin City Container in Coloma as a shipping foreman. He loved golf, fishing and bowling, but most of all he enjoyed helping others in need. A member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church for many years, he was a frequent lector at Saturday evening mass. On December 7, 1946, he married Marie H. Bower, who preceded him in death on September 20, 2002. He is survived by a son, Robert (Amy) Polstin of St. Ignace; a daughter, Rebecca (Leet) Zwepink of Churubusco, IN; a sister, Leatha A. (Charles E.) Mickel of Benton Harbor; grandchildren, Nicholas Polstin, Chelsea and Marlies Zwepink; and several nieces and !
nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers; and an infant daughter, Cora Ann. The family will receive friends today (Thursday) 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the

where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 5, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Fr. Thomas Fernando, Celebrant. Interment Fort Custer National Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial contributions to St. Ambrose Catholic Church will be appreciated.
