I am looking for info on a farmer named Silas S. Gates. He had an older sister named Louisa who married a Stephenson and was widowed and living with Silas on the 1920 Census. Louisa had a son named Roy Stephenson. Silas and his sister were born in Michigan, and their parents were born in NY.

On the 1910 Census, Silas is married to a woman named Mira N. Gates (formerly Myra Mapes Dennis). I believe they were married in 1890, but I haven't found a record of the marriage. He has two stepsons from Mira's first marriage, George and Bertus Dennis, and two adopted daughters, Frances and Lillian Gates.

Any information on the family would be appreciated. Thanks.
