Mr. Charles W. ALBERT - Crooked Lake, Delton, age 78. Passed away Saturday afternoon at Pennock Hospital, Hastings, after a lingering illness. Mr. ALBERT was born December 27, 1893 in Listowel, Ontario, Canada. He had lived in the Delton area for the past 23 years and was formerly of Battle Creek. He was employed with the Battle Creek Refuse Company for 17 years and retired from there in 1961. He was married to Dorothy AIKEN, February 15, 1924 in Guelph, Ontario, who survives. Surviving besides his wife, Dorothy; are five daughters, Mrs. John (Margaret) FINLEY of Tecumseh, Mich., Mrs. Kendall (Jean) WILCOX of Battle Creek, Mrs. Clifford (Dorothy) BYERS of Bellevue, Mrs. Chris (Carol) BROWN, Rte 2, Delton, Mrs. Richard (June) MILLER, Rte 2, Delton; three sons, Charles of Battle Creek, Joseph of Rte 2, Delton and James of Bellevue; 19 grandchidlren and 9 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lillian LEE, Speedway City, Ind. Friends are being received after 7 p.m. this e!
vening at the Williams Funeral Home, Delton, where services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., Rev. Marvin Iseminger officiaqitng. Interment, Michigan Memorial Park, Battle Creek.
