of Gun Lake

Aged 93, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 27, 2005. He is survived by his daughters, Beverly Taylor, Carolyn Keech; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Gillett of Ohio. He is preceded in death by his wife, Amelia on March 18, 2005; sons-in-law, Ron & Floyd; grandson, Johnny; great grandsons, Jeremy, Dion, Michael; sisters, Ruth Roberts, Odeyne Gillett; brother, Donald Gillett; niece, Marquarite Roberts. He and his wife owned Gillett Bait & Hardware Store since 1951. Rosary Service will be 6:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church with Fr. Gaylord Shimnoski as celebrant (please meet at church). Interment in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church Building Fund or Wayland Area Ambulance. The family will greet relatives and friends 6-8 PM Saturday and 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
