Died Monday, July 31, 2006 at Bronson Methodist Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Tom was born January 14, 1983 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Richard L. and Donna A. (Browne) Lipscomb. He was a 2002 graduate of Delton-Kellogg High School, where he wrestled and played on the football team. Tom served proudly in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division, Bravo Company, 3-187th Infantry Regiment as a mortar gunner from August 2002 until August 2005, including a 12 month tour in Iraq. He was currently working at Prairie Farms Dairy, and liked to hunt, fish, play golf and enjoyed bodybuilding. Tom is survived by his parents; one sister, Rebecca (Jason) Folckemer of Fort Benning, GA; brother, James Lipscomb of Fort Benning, GA; grandparents, Tom and Jeri Browne of Battle Creek, James and Margaret Lipscomb of Battle Creek, and Harold and Rosemary Shemberger of Luther; grandmother, Alwilda Danis of Battle Creek; many nieces, nephews, aunts, u!
ncles and cousins; and special friends, Lindsey and Kim Reed. The family will receive friends at

on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Fort Custer National Cemetery Honor Guard.
