Amelia I. KNAPPEN (Widow)
Born: New York
Parents: Lansing K. KENYON (b. NY) and Sarah J. THOMAS (b. NY)
Died: 17 September 1930 (76 yrs., 7 mos., 23 ds.), Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI
Cause of Death: Cerebral Hemorrhage

NOTE: Although AMELIA ISABELLA KENYON and her sister CALISTA were raised by OSCAR & JULIA HADLEY, in Hastings, Barry Co., MI, their true parents were LANSING KENYON & SARAH JANE THOMAS. Sarah died 20 January 1861 and is buried in the Kenyonville Cemetery, Hamlet of Kenyonville, Orleans Co., NY. I believe Lansing Kenyon is buried in Shippy Cemetery, Ashland Twp., Newaygo Co., MI. Lansing was a Civil War veteran.
