Raymond Paul "Ray"

Of Charlotte, MI
Died unexpectedly on Monday, September 24, 2007 in Jasper County, IN. Ray was born April 5, 1971 in Battle Creek, to Paul and Shirley (Swanson) Chadderdon. He graduated from Gull Lake High School in 1989. On October 3, 1998, he married Lorry Nava in Delton, MI, she survives. Ray was a truck driver and was employed by the Transport America Company. He has been with them since he started driving truck 15 years ago. Ray enjoyed working with his hands. In his spare time he would work on his trucks and small projects around the house. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ray liked working on electronics and computers. He would take them apart and try to put them together again. He loved his animals and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Lorry of Charlotte; son, Jacob Raymond Chadderdon of Charlotte; parents, Paul and Shirley Chadderdon of Hickory Corners; two sisters, Ann (Jon) Swinehart of Galesburg and Janet (Ryan) Romyak of Kalamazoo. He is also survive!
d by his grandmothers, Mary Chadderdon of Kalamazoo, Ethel Swanson of Battle Creek; special aunt and uncle, Beverly and Duane Chadderdon of Kalamazoo; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Fairly Nava; brother-in-law, Richard (Michelle) Nava; sister-in-law, Wendi (Robert) Rogers, all of Battle Creek; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Chadderdon and Richard Swanson. Visitation will take place at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-8 PM with family present to greet friends at that time and a Rosary will be held at 7 PM. Funeral services celebrating his life will take place at 1 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Family request memorial contributions to the Raymond P. Chadderdon memorial fund for his sons education. Assistance with memorials is available at the Kempf Funeral Home. Leave a personal message for the family and sign the online gues!
