Please let me make few precisions about what you posted.
Originally « BALLARD dit Latour » was written with only one « L », at less from Stephen Godfray and back, and his given name is Étienne-Godfroy, bapt. (not born) 01-13-1747 at Les Éboulement, Québec, Canada. He married on 10-01-1770 at Les Cèdres, Soulanges county, Québec with Marie-Françoise (not Mary Francis) Souchereau dit Langoumois (not Langomois). Marie-Françoise was born before 02-07-1754 (not 1755), which was the date of burial of her mother.
His father Augustin married #1: Marie-Victoire Tremblay (not Mary Victoria; born 03-04-1729 at Les Éboulements; bapt. 04-02-1729 at Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec) on 08-17-1746 at Les Éboulements and #2 Marie-Josephte Bolduc on 09-10-1764 at Saint-Vallier (Bellechasse county, Québec).
Augustin (not Augustan) Balard (born 09-30-1691, bapt. 10-08-1691 and burial (not death) 04-30-1724; Cap-Saint-Ignace, Québec) married Marie-Jeanne (not Mary Jane; born 05-02-1686; bapt. 05-05-1686; Neuville, Portneuf county, Québec) on 11-12-1714 at Neuville.
Louis Balard (born about 1649; died 12-23-1724 and burial 03-19-1725 at Cap-Saint-Ignace) married Marguerite (not Margaret) Migneron dit Lajeunesse (born 10-23-1658 and bapt. 10-24-1658 at Québec; burial (not died) 05-17-1735 at Saint-Thomas, Montmorency county, Québec) on 04-17-1676 at Québec.
Pierre (not Peter) Ballard married Sébastienne (not Sabastiana) Pilin. Their were from Saint-Lazare, v. ar. and év. Autun, Bourgogne (Daône-et-Loire)
I understand that you have translated all the given names. I thing you should use the correct names an the translation put in bracket.
If you have some data about Souchereau and Campeau families in the book « Genealogy of the French Families of the Detroit River Region », please send me the scanned pages at
Many thanks!
